Delete your account and data

Request deletion by email

1. Email support@northyak.com from the address associated with your account. Say that you want to delete your NorthYak account. You do not need to give a reason.
2. We may ask you to confirm ownership before acting. Do not send your password, OAuth credentials or recovery codes. If you cannot access the account email, explain that in your request so we can discuss an appropriate verification method.
3. We will handle the request manually, explain any information we need to retain and confirm the outcome by email within the deadlines required by applicable law.

There is currently no self-service deletion button in the website. This email process also works when account features are unavailable. For access, correction or deletion of personal information outside an account, contact privacy@northyak.com.

What deletion covers

Account deletion removes the account record, its password or linked OAuth account records, and stored sessions. Outstanding verification and recovery records need separate cleanup during request handling. A cached session can remain valid for up to five minutes.

Shared App Store observations, search inputs and AI results are not removed automatically with an account. If they contain your personal data, include the relevant search or page in your request. Logs, usage records, correspondence and backup copies follow separate retention and cleanup processes; deletion is not an immediate erasure of every copy. See retention details in the Privacy Policy.

Connected services

Deleting NorthYak does not delete your Google or GitHub account, or information held independently by email and other providers. You can remove NorthYak’s authorization in Google account connections or GitHub application settings. Revoking a provider connection alone does not delete your NorthYak account.
