Using NorthYak

NorthYak is an independently operated ASO intelligence and information service. It helps you inspect App Store search results, app information, calculated metrics and, where available, AI explanations. These terms govern your use of the service. Contact us at support@northyak.com.

You must be at least 18 and use NorthYak for professional purposes. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf. By creating an account or continuing through a sign-in action that presents these terms, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process information.

Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Account and sign-in features may be unavailable while they are being introduced.

You must not:

• Bypass authentication, security challenges, quotas or rate limits.
• Attempt credential attacks, unauthorized access or interference with other users.
• Use abusive automation, malicious code, or requests intended to disrupt NorthYak or its providers.
• Use the service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, or submit personal or confidential information you are not entitled to use.

Information, ownership and third parties

NorthYak’s branding, design, software and original content belong to their respective owners and licensors. App Store metadata, artwork and third-party marks remain the property of their owners. Access to NorthYak does not transfer ownership or give you rights to reuse third-party material beyond what its owner or applicable law permits.

Apple, Google, GitHub and other providers may change their APIs, results, terms or availability. References to them identify their services and do not imply their endorsement of NorthYak. Their services may be subject to separate terms.

Limits of the service

NorthYak is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. Information may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or temporarily unavailable. We do not promise a service-level agreement or uninterrupted access. We do not guarantee App Store rankings, downloads, revenue, conversion, Apple approval or any other business result.

Metrics and AI explanations are information, not legal, financial or other professional advice. AI output can be wrong. You make your own decisions and should verify information that matters to them.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement, and exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or data-protection violations. Mandatory consumer rights and other protections under applicable law remain intact.

Access, changes and ending use

We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements or a breach of these terms. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and how to contact us about it. You may stop using NorthYak at any time and request account deletion.

Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical, including through the website or email. Changes to these terms will carry updated dates and a notice of material changes before they take effect where required. We will seek renewed agreement where applicable law requires it.
